Private Patient Services

The 2006 NHS Act placed restrictions on Foundation Trusts generating income from private patients, on the one hand, but on the other hand gave Foundation Trusts more leeway in developing commercial companies. The 2012 Health and Social Care Act removes some of these restrictions, and the Forward Plans were written with this Act in mind.
